Diamond Roller Flour Mills Pvt. Limited (DRFM), based at Kottayam in Kerala, is one of the leading wheat processing units in India producing premium quality wheat products, Maida, Sooji, Bran, Atta & Chakki Fresh Atta. DRFM started its operation in the early 1990s. Its products had become well accepted by the consumers and rose to fame as the No.1 brand in South India. It has been more than three glorious decades since we had begun our journey and our legacy continues. We have been able to provide an efficient distribution of quality products to our customers because of our relentless efforts to maintain quality. In 2012, DRFM set up a modern state-of-the-art wheat processing plant and in 2013, we commisioned our new plant. DRFM is the only flour mills in India with all its machinery imported from world-renowned milling system provider - Buhler AG of Switzerland. DRFM has received FSSC-22000:2011 certification from DNV Business Assurance, Netherlands, a rare achievement among wheat processing plants in India. Our premium products are also exported to various Gulf countries.

The path to success has always been a path full of challenges. According to Mr. Ameer Aly T. K., CMD of Diamond Roller Flour Mills Pvt Ltd, every day is a challenge in a businessman’s life. It had been challenging to establish a wheat processing plant in Kerala, where wheat, the key raw material is not grown and it has to come from Northern parts of the country. Now, Diamond Roller Flour Mills Ltd is a leading unit in the country with a market share of about 15% of the wheat products market in the state. This was made possible solely because of our team’s steadfast resolve and high aspirations to succeed.
THE SECRET SAUCE TO SUCCESS: FAMILY DYNAMICS
Business is in the blood of Mr. Ameer Aly, who at the age of 17, after completing his SSLC and ITI joined his elder brother, Mr. Abdul Kareem in his small scale paddy trading. Being an entrepreneur by profession and a farming enthusiast by passion, Mr Ameer Aly rose to the level of the Director of a family-owned wheat roller flour mill in Palakkad in 1990. There has been no looking back since then. In the early 1990s, they acquired a defunct roller mills namely, Diamond Roller Flour Mills Pvt. Ltd. (DRFM) at Kottayam . Subsequently Mr. Ameer stepped into the garment and steel sectors as well. In 2004, he became the Chairman and Managing Director of DRFM. His wife Ms. Muthubeevi and Mr C. B. V. Siddique were appointed as the Directors.
